Welcome!
Ever feel like something is missing in your life? You could be right. Our fast-paced world can leave us feeling aimless, disconnected and unfulfilled. But at Maple Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church we believe life has a purpose beyond our daily routines and that by exploring the spiritual side we can improve every aspect of life, from relationships to finances.
Visiting a new church requires some courage. Our prayer is that you will sense God's presence as we worship Him together, and that you will feel included in our fellowship together. As a dynamic group of Christian believers who seek an authentic experience with Jesus each week, we study to know Him more, hopefully reflecting His love in our homes, communities, and especially at church.
The Maple Valley Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church is committed to spreading the everlasting Gospel (Matt. 28:18-20; Rev. 14:6-7) and uphold the principles of God's Word (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21) so that our family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors might know the amazing grace given to us by Jesus Christ and His Father through their great plan of salvation - the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, for us (John 3:16-17).
MVSDA Mission Statement
Our mission is to manifest the final and full display of the love of God in service and outreach to the Maple Valley community!
The church is God’s appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world. From the beginning it has been God’s plan that through His church shall be reflected to the world His fullness and His sufficiency. The members of the church, those whom He has called out of darkness into His marvelous light, are to show forth His glory. The church is the repository of the riches of the grace of Christ; and through the church will eventually be made manifest, even to “the principalities and powers in heavenly places,” the final and full display of the love of God. Ephesians 3:10. – {AA 9.1}
MVSDA – Our Vision
Our Vision is to reach the entire population of Maple Valley with the Gospel in practical and tangible ways. To manifest the love of God through serving our community!
About Seventh-day Adventists
The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
